A cold day in January, like any other, when suddenly, a snow flake, two… and more.
It was fun and beautiful at the same time. We didn’t have a ton of it but it was enough to play with snow balls and get cold. We walked around town. Because of the pandemic, the stores are closed, the tourists are not allowed, it’s only us and a few Amsterdamers. I was surprised to see that only a very few people were riding their bikes, most of them were walking them, I had not thought of that. Even if the snow was thin, it was still too dangerous to ride a bicycle. They were left around town, turning white, like everything else.
We’ll see if we get lucky and get more snow this winter, if we do, I will update this post.
